The Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall with thunderstorms for Karachi today. The weather office added that it will remain partly cloudy weather in the port city today.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature in the metropolis is expected to be 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, it said.
The humidity ratio in the city’s air was recorded at 77 percent while winds are blowing at a light speed from the north in Karachi. Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has said that heavy rains are likely to start in Balochistan from tonight. Rains are expected in 27 districts from tonight to April 19, it added. Heavy rainfall is likely in Gwadar, Kech, Panjgur, Lasbela, Hub, Khuzdar, and Sorab. Rains are also expected in Kalat Awaran, Kharan, Washik, and Mastung, the PDMA said. Last week, rain lashed several areas of Karachi including Manipur, Gulistan-e-Johar, Airport, and Malir.
