Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has stated that there is a consensus across the Muslim Ummah that no jihad can be waged against the state of Pakistan, and the terrorists who have been caught or killed have no connection with Islam.
Addressing the National Peace Message Committee conference, he announced that the secretariat of the National Peace Message Committee has been officially established. He emphasized the crucial role of religious scholars in promoting peace, noting that terrorists have neither religion nor homeland.
Attaullah Tarar said the committee will promote the principle that terrorism has no link with Islam. He stressed that Islam is a religion of peace, tolerance, and harmony, and this message will be conveyed to every household.
The minister highlighted that religious scholars have historically served the nation, and the National Peace Message Committee has full authority to effectively spread the message of peace. During his visit to Peshawar, scholars from all schools of thought will be consulted.
He further warned that Fitna-e-Hindustan and Fitna-e-Khawarij are receiving foreign funding, and these elements are being exposed gradually. Terrorists continue to target innocent civilians, but the government is committed to completely eradicating terrorism and promoting the message of peace at all levels.
