A major breakthrough has been made in the case involving the killing of a woman and her three children in Karachi. Police have arrested the main suspect accused of murdering the victims and dumping their bodies into a sewer near the Mai Kolachi area.
According to police officials, the suspect was taken into custody from the Lyari area. During initial interrogation, the accused confessed to killing the woman and her three children.
The suspect revealed that he had been in contact with the woman for the past three years. He claimed that the woman was involved in amulet-related practices and had allegedly been blackmailing him, which led him to commit the crime.
After killing the woman and her children, the suspect fled the scene but was later arrested following an investigation.
Police officials confirmed that the woman was identified as Anila, while the children were identified as Koneen Zahra, Kishor Zahra, and Hasnain. The woman was divorced and had been residing with her children in the Kharadar area.
It is worth noting that the bodies of the woman and her three children were recovered from a sewer in the Mai Kolachi area a day earlier, causing widespread concern across the city.
