Pakistan has decided to name a new highway in Islamabad after the name of Iran on the occasion of the visit of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to express solidarity with the brotherly country Iran. It has been decided to name Ave New Islam Abad as Iran Ave New.
The federal cabinet has approved this decision on the summary of CDA, the summary was approved through circulation. It may be recalled that CDA has started the construction of Eleventh Avenue, in Phase One, it has been constructed from Sector D Bara to E-Eleven North East Corner where an interchange has also been constructed at Khayaban Iqbal. In phase two, it will be extended to IJ Principal Road. According to the CDA officials, after the approval of the federal road, it has now been renamed as Iran Avenue.
