The terrorists who attacked the FC Headquarters in Peshawar have been identified.
According to Express News, a suicide attack was carried out on the FC Headquarters shortly after 8 AM on Monday, which was successfully foiled through a timely counter-operation. In the attack, one suicide bomber detonated himself at the main gate, after which two other terrorists attempted to enter the premises. However, both were killed before they could advance.
In the incident, three FC personnel were martyred, while the total number of injured has been reported as 11, which includes civilians as well.
Following the attack, a large contingent of law enforcement personnel was called in, after which the entire area was cordoned off and a search operation was conducted.
Later, initial investigations into the incident were carried out, and CCTV footage of the explosion also surfaced, showing the first attacker detonating himself outside the gate.
According to security sources, the identities of all three terrorists involved in the attack have been confirmed. Further investigations revealed that the three terrorists who were killed were Afghan nationals, from whom weapons and explosives were also recovered.
