The international journal Carolina Political Review has acknowledged that recent tensions between Pakistan and India have significantly strengthened Pakistan’s defense capability, diplomatic position, and global credibility.

According to the journal, Pakistan re-emerged as an important player in global politics in 2025. The escalation with India in May highlighted Pakistan’s strong defense preparedness, while effective diplomacy helped restore confidence in Washington and reset bilateral relations.

The review noted that the United States has recognized Pakistan as a key strategic bridge connecting South Asia, the Gulf, and Central Asia. Pakistan has also maintained a balanced, multi-dimensional strategy alongside CPEC to advance national economic interests.

According to Carolina Political Review, recent shifts in US-Pakistan relations under the Trump administration have drawn global media attention. The journal highlighted cooperation in rare earth minerals, energy, and mining, including major investment frameworks that signal growing trust and long-term partnership.

The review concluded that Pakistan has gained diplomatic and psychological advantage in Washington, while India has lagged behind. Statements by the US leadership on Kashmir were described as supportive of Pakistan’s diplomatic stance.
