Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has clarified the sudden interruption that occurred during a live television program, an incident that quickly went viral on social media.
The incident took place when Ahsan Iqbal was speaking live on a private TV channel and his mobile phone abruptly disconnected due to an unexpected interruption in the background, briefly disrupting the broadcast.
As soon as the clip surfaced online, social media users began raising questions, expressing concern over the mysterious nature of the interruption. Many questioned whose voice was heard in the background and why the live connection was suddenly cut.
Responding to a journalist’s tweet, Ahsan Iqbal explained that a brief disturbance occurred due to an argument by a person who was unaware that he was participating in a live program. He added that he rejoined the show shortly afterward and the matter was minor.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Atta Tarar also addressed the issue on social media, stating that he had spoken to Ahsan Iqbal and clarified that a child had unexpectedly entered the room, after which the situation was quickly resolved.
