President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is arriving in Pakistan today on an official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This marks his first official visit to Pakistan after assuming the presidency.
The visit aims to further strengthen the brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE and enhance cooperation in key areas including trade, investment, energy, and regional stability.
Comprehensive preparations have been completed in Islamabad to welcome the distinguished guest. The federal capital has been decorated with Pakistani and UAE flags, flowers, and colorful lights.
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed will be accorded a red-carpet welcome, while Pakistan Air Force JF-17 fighter jets will present an aerial salute in his honor. Major roads and important government buildings, including the Presidency and Parliament House, have been specially adorned.
Strict security arrangements have been put in place for the visit. Heavy traffic movement will remain restricted, and Pakistan Secretariat along with some courts will remain closed today. However, banks, CDA, Islamabad administration, police, IESCO, and gas offices will continue to operate as usual.
