A case has been registered at Shams Colony Police Station after a university student accused her classmate of sexual assault in Rawalpindi.
According to police, the complainant, a resident of Sector H-13 and a student of Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, stated in her application that her classmate, identified as Muhammad Faizan, allegedly subjected her to repeated sexual assault.
The complainant further alleged that the accused also recorded obscene photos and videos, which were used to further exploit her. Upon receiving the complaint, Shams Colony Police registered an FIR and initiated a formal investigation.
Police officials stated that evidence is being collected and all legal aspects of the case are being examined. Further action will be taken in accordance with the law after completion of the investigation.
