Security Forces Kill 22 Indian-Backed Terrorists in Bannu Operation

 Bannu: Security forces have killed 22 terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed group Fitnah-ul-Khawarij in Bannu district. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on November 24 following intelligence about the presence of the terrorists in the area.During the operation, security forces successfully targeted terrorist hideouts, and after an intense exchange of fire, 22 militants were eliminated. The ISPR added that clearance and sanitization operations are ongoing to locate or neutralize any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists.The ISPR further stated that under the National Action Plan and the vision of the Federal Apex Committee for “Azm-e-Istihkam” (Resolve for Stability), Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies continue their counter-terrorism campaign at full pace, aiming to eliminate foreign-supported terrorism from the country completely.

President Arif Ali Zardari praised the timely and effective response of the security forces, calling the elimination of Indian-backed terrorists a top priority of the state. He saluted the courage of the personnel involved and noted that the martyrs and survivors are a source of national pride.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the successful operation, emphasizing that the entire nation stands with Pakistan’s armed forces in the fight against terrorism.Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that the operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to eliminate the malignancy of Fitnah-ul-Hindustan are commendable. He stated that with the support of the nation, Pakistan is eradicating all Indian-backed terrorist elements, and the people of Pakistan can take pride in their brave forces.
