Bannu: Security forces have killed 22 terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed group Fitnah-ul-Khawarij in Bannu district. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on November 24 following intelligence about the presence of the terrorists in the area.During the operation, security forces successfully targeted terrorist hideouts, and after an intense exchange of fire, 22 militants were eliminated. The ISPR added that clearance and sanitization operations are ongoing to locate or neutralize any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists.The ISPR further stated that under the National Action Plan and the vision of the Federal Apex Committee for “Azm-e-Istihkam” (Resolve for Stability), Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies continue their counter-terrorism campaign at full pace, aiming to eliminate foreign-supported terrorism from the country completely.
