Rains in Balochistan
Rainfall was reported in various cities of Sindh and Balochistan, two different provinces of Pakistan. Due to the rain, citizens in several cities of Sindh including Sukkur, Khairpur, and Jacobabad faced power outages, while strong winds hit Larkana. The accompanying rain caused many trees to fall.
Clouds also released rain in the cities of Quetta, Chaman, Mastung, Panchgaur, and Nushki in Balochistan. Additionally, Nokundi, Machh, Dalbandin, and other areas witnessed a sandstorm. According to the Meteorological Department, it is likely to rain in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan today, with the possibility of snowfall in the mountains.
