Quetta: Former BMC Cashier Arrested For Embezzling Rs.80 lakh

The Director General of Anti-Corruption in Balochistan formed an inquiry team to investigate a complaint made by the principal of Bolan Medical College Quetta. The team, led by Deputy Director Investigation Sheikh Munir Ahmad and Assistant Director Investigation Asghar Chingizi, carried out an inquiry against Zafar Iqbal, the former cashier bursar of the college. During the investigation, it was discovered that Zafar Iqbal had misappropriated government funds amounting to Rs. He did so illegally and without the permission of authorized authorities. Zafar Iqbal was arrested and the investigation is ongoing. Further action will be taken based on the information provided by Zafar Iqbal during the investigation
