Qazi Faez Isa Fond Of Karachi’s Kachori

The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faiz Isa, recently revealed his fondness for kachori, a spicy deep-fried snack that originated in India. While addressing a luncheon hosted by the Supreme Court Bar Association in Karachi, he shared his memories of the city and the taste of its food.

Kachori was once available for only one rupee, he said. This puffed pastry is commonly filled with vegetables, lentils, chicken, or beef and served with a special curry and carrot pickles.

There are several well-known spots for delicious kachori in Karachi, including Sadiq Kachori House, Shahid Kachori, and Haji Noor Kachori. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif encouraged Karachi businessmen to offer traditional dishes like Nihari and Kabab to visiting investors from Saudi Arabia to strengthen business ties.
