Pakistan Navy Ship SAIF visited the Port of Male as part of its ongoing overseas deployment, where it received a warm welcome from Maldivian authorities upon arrival.
During the visit, the Mission Commander met with the military leadership of the Maldives and also visited the High Commission of Pakistan. Discussions were held on matters of mutual interest, naval engagements, and cooperation in maritime security.

During the ship’s stay, Maldivian government officials, ambassadors from various countries, and members of the diplomatic community visited PNS SAIF. Following the port call, PNS SAIF conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Maldives Coast Guard vessels.
Regular visits of Pakistan Navy ships to the Maldives reflect the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and will further enhance interoperability between their naval forces.
