Pakistan’s Army Chief Arrives In Germany On Official Visit

Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has arrived in Germany for an official visit. According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), General Syed Asim Munir is on an official visit to Germany. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Chief of Defense Karsten Brewer from the German Defense Ministry and was presented with a guard of honor by the German armed forces.

General Alphonse Mies also met with the Army Chief during his visit to the Combat Training Center of the German Army. According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, the German counterpart was also present with the Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir at the German Army Combat Training Center. The Army Chief was briefed regarding training issues in the German Army. The Army Chief visited various training facilities and observed a practical demonstration of Urban Warfare.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) met with Mr. Jens Plötner, Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the Federal Chancellor; Mr. Tobias Linder, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; and Mr. Nils Hilmer, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence.
