Pakistan Rejects Claims of Airstrikes Inside Afghanistan

Pakistan has categorically rejected allegations of conducting airstrikes inside Afghanistan, stating that no such military action has taken place in recent days.According to security officials, whenever Pakistan conducts any operation, it acknowledges it at the official level; therefore, the accusations being circulated by Afghan authorities and on social media are baseless. Officials said that most of the reported explosions in Afghan territory were likely the result of internal disputes, clashes between local groups, or, in some cases, staged incidents linked to Indian operatives. They noted that Indian influence within extremist factions in Afghanistan is not a new development.Sources further stated that the Afghan government often blames Pakistan for its internal problems, and the same pattern is being followed this time. They added that many images circulating on social media are old, unrelated, or edited, and do not reflect the actual situation on the ground.According to officials, Afghanistan is currently under significant domestic and regional pressure and fears a potential response from Pakistan, especially after the recent attacks in Islamabad, Wana College, and Peshawar. As a result, Afghan authorities are attempting to divert global attention by leveling premature accusations.Pakistani officials asserted that if Pakistan were to take any action, the world would see it clearly — “In October, everyone witnessed the light in Kabul’s sky.”They added that, as usual, India has quickly endorsed the Afghan narrative, amplifying it on social media in an effort to spread false propaganda.
