Pakistan and China have agreed to strengthen their security cooperation and maintain a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. The agreement was reached during the 7th Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue in Beijing, co-chaired by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Both sides emphasized enhancing bilateral ties, promoting peace in South Asia, countering unilateral actions,
and supporting the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue. The two countries also discussed cooperation in trade, investment, defense, CPEC, agriculture, minerals, and space exploration. Pakistan reaffirmed its support for China on issues including Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet, Hong Kong, and the South China Sea, while China pledged full support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and anti-terrorism efforts.
