In South Waziristan’s Wana area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the terrorist group “Fitna al-Khawarij,” supported by Indian and Afghan Taliban, attempted an attack, which was swiftly thwarted by the Pakistan Army and security forces.
Security sources stated that three terrorists managed to enter the college and were confined to the administrative block, which is located far from the cadet dormitories. The operation is being carried out with utmost caution to ensure the safety of all students.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan Army reported that on the night of November 10, terrorists attacked the main gate of Cadet College Wana with a car filled with explosives. The blast caused the gate to be destroyed and nearby buildings to sustain damage. However, security forces responded immediately, killing two terrorists at the scene.

Anti-Terror Operation Hits Wana College
According to ISPR, there were approximately 650 people inside the college at the time of the attack, including 525 cadets. So far, 115 individuals have been safely evacuated, while around 535 cadets and staff are still inside, and their evacuation is ongoing in stages. The security forces emphasized that the terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij have no connection to Islam or Pakistan’s prosperity, and operations against them will continue until all elements are eradicated. Sources suggest that this attack is part of the ongoing activities linked to the terrorist network responsible for the suicide bombing at the G-11 district court in Islamabad, which has backing from Indian intelligence agencies and support from Afghan Taliban facilitators. Security agencies have issued a nationwide high alert and launched comprehensive operations against the terrorist network and its collaborators.
