Zero Tolerance Policy On National Security To Continue: Field Marshal

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has reaffirmed the resolve to counter all kinds of threats facing the country, stating that the policy of zero tolerance on national security will continue to be implemented in full.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Hilal-e-Jurat, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, visited the Lahore Garrison, where he was given a detailed briefing on the formation’s operational readiness, training standards, and enhancement of combat capabilities.

During the visit, he observed a special field training exercise that demonstrated the practical use of modern warfare technologies. The exercise reflected alignment with future battlefield requirements, innovation, and operational flexibility.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also reviewed sports and recreational facilities provided to troops, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness, high morale, and welfare. He additionally visited the state-of-the-art High Care Centre at CMH Lahore and appreciated the efforts of the administration and medical staff in providing quality healthcare services.

Addressing officers, he stated that the Pakistan Army will confront multidimensional national security challenges with complete professionalism, discipline, and determination. He made it clear that the Armed Forces remain fully prepared at all times to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability.

Earlier, the Corps Commander Lahore received the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces upon his arrival at the Lahore Garrison.
