The first meeting of the Balochistan Provincial Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. The Chief Minister presented the agenda of good governance and improvement of the people and the province in the cabinet meeting.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the biggest challenge in Balochistan is governance, and around sixty reforms have been proposed to improve it. The reform process will be finalized after consultation with the cabinet. The Chief Minister urged everyone to work together for the betterment of the common man and to control non-developmental expenditure.
The upcoming government will work in good faith for the bright future of the generations and set a positive direction for the province. The ministers are responsible for their respective departments, and the Chief Minister will keep a close eye on their affairs. A “KPI” will be created to evaluate the performance of each department, and measures will be taken for further improvement after evaluating the performance. No compromise on merit will be accepted, and all appointments will be made based on merit.
