The Islamabad Police has issued an advisory for people intending to go on Eid holidays. DIG Operations Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari has released a video message emphasizing the importance of security measures.
He has advised people to ensure their homes are secured before leaving. This includes informing newspaper vendors to avoid throwing newspapers at their doorstep and reporting to the nearest police station before leaving. Additionally, people should lock their houses completely and leave only after being reassured of their safety.
DIG Operations Bukhari added that the Islamabad Police is committed to protecting the lives and property of the citizens. It’s worth noting that the Pakistani Government has announced Eid holidays from April 10 to 13 for offices that work six days a week and from April 10 to 12 for offices that work five days a week.
