Islamabad – NADRA has taken a revolutionary step for the convenience of citizens and introduced a modern mobile app called “Pak ID”,
through which obtaining identity documents has now become easier than ever.
Through this app, applications can be made for many services, including renewal, amendment, reprint of ID card, NICOP, Pakistan Origin Card (POC), B Form of children, birth certificate, family registration, death certificate, and succession certificate.
Most importantly, all the steps — photo, signature, biometric verification — can be completed only on mobile, eliminating the need for office visits and long queues.
This facility is a boon, especially for rural areas, overseas Pakistanis, and busy citizens.
This app is a practical embodiment of the Digital Pakistan vision, which will not only make the lives of citizens easier but will also reduce the pressure on NADRA offices. Experts and the public have called this app a “relief revolution.”
