The 50th Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Polo and Tent Pegging Championship 2025 concluded with a grand closing ceremony at the Jinnah Polo Fields, Lahore.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of the Army Staff and Chief of Defence Force, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by the Federal Minister for Interior, the Chief Secretary Punjab, senior officials, and a large number of spectators. Upon arrival, the Chief Guest was received by the Corps Commander Lahore and the Chairman Pakistan Polo Federation.
The championship highlighted the Pakistan Army’s rich traditions of sportsmanship, discipline, and excellence. A total of eight teams participated in the event, with Peshawar Corps emerging as champions, while Gujranwala Corps secured the runners-up position.
During the closing ceremony, the Chief Guest distributed prizes among the winning and participating players and appreciated their outstanding performances.
