During the meeting, the COAS praised General Sahir Shamshad Mirza for his outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to the Pakistan Armed Forces. He acknowledged the CJCSC’s key role in boosting tri-services coordination, strengthening joint operational readiness, and supporting Pakistan’s strategic security objectives.
Field Marshal Asim Munir also highlighted General Sahir’s significant contributions to regional stability, military diplomacy, and the development of partnerships with friendly nations.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza thanked the Army Chief and the Armed Forces for their support throughout his career.
Upon his arrival at GHQ, the CJCSC laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and received a Guard of Honour from a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army.
