On Monday, the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Malik Amjed Zubair Tiwana, held an E-Kachehri at the FBR Headquarters to address the concerns of taxpayers and provide them with prompt assistance.
The E-Kachehri provides a direct platform for taxpayers to share their issues and suggestions related to tax-related matters with the Chairman of FBR. During the Kachehri session, the Chairman personally received phone calls from taxpayers, listened to their grievances, and provided on-spot directions to relevant offices for the prompt resolution of their issues.
The Chairman appreciated the suggestions given by some taxpayers and assured them that their input would be duly considered. FBR is taking all possible measures to facilitate taxpayers by ensuring the timely provision of services and promoting tax culture and compliance throughout the country.
The E-Kachehri by Chairman FBR provides an excellent opportunity for taxpayers to communicate directly with the Chairman to resolve their grievances. It also helps to monitor the performance of the Field Formations. The Chairman has already directed all Field Formations to improve service delivery and make timely resolutions for taxpayers’ concerns.
