A meeting was held between Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan in which matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Met Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir. Matters of mutual interest, regional peace, and stability were discussed in the meeting. ISPR says that the Army Chief stressed further promoting Pakistan’s long-standing brotherly relations with Azerbaijan.
The Army Chief also praised the exemplary professionalism and bravery of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
A spokesman Pakistan Army said that on this occasion, the Foreign Minister praised Pakistan for its continuous support to Azerbaijan. The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan also acknowledged Pakistan’s role in maintaining regional stability. ISPR further informed that Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir speaking on the occasion said that Pakistan is fully committed to security and defense. Cooperation will continue.
