Saudi Arabia Has Supported Pakistan In Every Difficult Time: PM
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood at the Prime Minister’s House, in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister welcomed the Saudi Deputy Interior Minister to Pakistan and conveyed his best wishes.
He conveyed his best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Referring to the historic, brotherly relations between the two countries, the Prime Minister thanked the Saudi leadership and government for supporting Pakistan in all difficult times and said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are working together to further strengthen mutually beneficial economic and investment cooperation.
The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction over implementing the Memorandum of Understanding between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan regarding Saudi investment of US$ 2.8 billion in Pakistan. The situation in Gaza and the Middle East was also discussed in the meeting.
Referring to the recent Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, the Prime Minister praised the Saudi leadership for convening the summit and appreciated the efforts of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to collectively unite the Muslim Ummah against Israel’s genocidal actions in Palestine and to end the violence in Gaza.
Stressing the importance of cooperation in defense and security cooperation between the two countries, the Prime Minister said that the visit of the Deputy Interior Minister and his delegation would help bring the two sides closer in terms of cooperation in these sensitive areas.
The Prime Minister reiterated the invitation to Saudi Crothe wn Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to pay an official visit to Pakistan. He said that the Pakistani people look forward to his warm welcome.
