Pakistani Banks Have Started Accepting Hajj Applications For 2025
The collection of Hajj applications has started in 15 designated banks across the country today.
Rs 200,000 will have to be deposited along with the Hajj application, the second installment will be collected after the draw.
The remaining Hajj dues will have to be paid from February 1 to 10.
The Religious Affairs Spokesperson has said in a statement that the quota of the government Hajj scheme is 89,605.
5,000 seats have been allocated for the sponsorship scheme for overseas Pakistanis. A lump sum payment will have to be made from abroad in US dollars.
The spokesperson said that the performance of hundreds of bank branches will be monitored directly on the ministry’s dashboard.
Female pilgrims will be able to travel without a mahram with the permission of the Hajj guardian with a trusted group.
Separate family rooms and a sacrifice facility will be available among the additional facilities.
He said that the government Hajj package includes air tickets, food, training, school, and vaccines.
People with serious complex diseases will not be allowed to travel for Hajj. Pregnant women in the advanced stage will not be able to travel for Hajj.
Hajj Rules For Children
Children under the age of 12 will also not be able to travel for Hajj.
The spokesperson for Religious Affairs clarified that applicants will be able to get all kinds of detailed guidance from the Hajj helpline, website, mobile app, and official social media accounts.
