Islamabad: The proposed draft of the 26th constitutional amendment was approved in an important meeting of the federal cabinet.
The Federal Cabinet meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in which the Minister of Law and Justice again gave a detailed briefing on the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
The federal cabinet has approved the proposed draft of the 26th constitutional amendment of the government coalition parties including the Pakistan People’s Party. The Prime Minister thanked the leaders of the coalition parties.
The Prime Minister said that the cabinet took the best decision for the development and prosperity of Pakistan and the improvement of the country’s conditions. I congratulate the entire nation on the approval of the 26th constitutional amendment by the cabinet.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister further said that the cabinet took the decision in the wider interest of the country while adhering to the oath of national development and public welfare.
