The Punjab government has started a 130 billion rupees gifted scholarship program for students, the registration of which has also started.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, information desks have been set up in universities, under the gifted scholarship program, scholarships will be given to students of 68 subjects.
Every year 30 thousand students will get scholarships, and students of 50 public sector universities across Punjab will be able to get scholarships.
According to the program, the scholarship will be provided for 4 to 5 years for an undergraduate degree program, 30% of matric and 70% of intermediate marks will be used to determine the eligibility of the students.
Full tuition fees of the students will be paid under the meritorious scholarship program. Citizens of Punjab who are below 22 years of age and have an income of less than 3 lakh will be able to apply for the scholarship. MBBS and BDS. Students will also be eligible for the scholarship.

In this regard, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that every student in Punjab is my son and every student is my daughter. Students will be given scholarships for higher education purely based on merit. Along with this, students who get good marks are to be provided opportunities for higher education.
