Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang met Pakistan’s military leadership.
The Chinese Prime Minister met with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Services Chiefs, in which they reiterated their determination to further strengthen and expand Pakistan-China’s long-standing relations.
Defense and counter-terrorism issues between China and Pakistan were also discussed in the meeting.
The Chinese Prime Minister appreciated the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in the fight against terrorism.
The Chinese Prime Minister also assured Pakistan’s full support and assistance in the war against terrorism.
It may be noted that Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang is in Pakistan to attend the SCO Summit.
