Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif met with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Al-Mabzikian on the occasion of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s position on Palestine to further strengthen Iran-Pakistan mutual support and partnership and called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine and Lebanon.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed all aspects of bilateral relations and emphasized the need for mutually beneficial cooperation to strengthen good neighborly relations.
The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of promoting bilateral trade and investment and improving ties and cultural ties with Iran.
