Balochistan Local Government Minister Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Khan Dom passed away in a private hospital in Karachi after a brief illness.
In the 2024 general elections, Sardar Mir Sarfaraz Chakar Khan Domki, Sibi Kum Lahri was elected as a Member of the Provincial Assembly with a huge majority from PB8.
Sardar Sarfraz Chakar Khan Domki was the son-in-law of former Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Mohammad Akbar Bugti.
Sardar Sarfraz Khan Domki has been part of the government and opposition at various times and has been the provincial minister of other departments including S&GAD.
After the death of former provincial minister late Sardar Chakar Khan Domki in 2007, Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Khan Domki was elected as chief of the Union Domki tribe.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan expressed regret.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of the provincial minister and said that Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Khan Domki was a shrewd and credible politician and tribal figure.
He said that the deceased always played a positive role in the political and tribal system of Balochistan, Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Khan Domki was an active member of the current Balochistan Cabinet.
Sarfaraz Bugti said that Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Khan was deeply shocked by the death of Domki, and shared with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and sorrow.
Balochistan Government Spokesman Shahid Rind also expressed regret over the death of the provincial minister and said that the deceased always played a positive role in the national unity and development of Balochistan.
Shahid Rand said that due to his demise, Balochistan lost a talented politician and a positive tribal personality.
