Cases Against PTI Leaders Over Islamabad Rally Violations

Islamabad: Islamabad Police has registered three cases against organizers for not ending the PTI rally on time, stone pelting on police, and violation of route.

The first three cases were registered against the PTI leadership under the Peaceful Assembly and Public Aman Bill.

Police sources have said that three cases have been registered against the organizers of the PTI rally.

The first case was registered in Sangjani police station for not observing the meeting time.

The second case was registered in Sambal Police Station for bringing the caravan from Sadat Colony and Srinagar Highway in violation of the specified route.

According to police sources, a third case was also registered in Perthana Noon for pelting stones at SSP Safe City and other officials.

Sources say that the federal police has prepared the prosecution, 28 local leaders including Zartaj Gul, Amir Mughal, Shoaib Shaheen, Umar Ayub, Seemabia Tahir, and Raja Beshawarat have been named in the cases.

According to the prosecutor, the police stopped the PTI workers for violating the route, on which the workers attacked the police with stones and sticks.

The police conducted shelling and 17 workers were arrested on the spot.
