Pentagon Has Condemned The Terrorist Attack In Balochistan.

The Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense, strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Balochistan, Pakistan. Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan during a press conference. When asked about US assistance in eliminating terrorism in Pakistan, Singh replied that Washington is committed to working with Pakistan to root out terrorism. The spokesperson emphasized the long-standing cooperation with the Pakistani government, assuring that the collaboration will continue.

Regarding a meeting with the Indian defense minister regarding attacks on Sikhs, Sabrina Singh declined to comment. The Pentagon spokesperson also mentioned that US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has approved a request for additional military support capabilities for the Secret Service to protect the presidential and vice presidential candidates in the upcoming elections, as reported by Azernews citing Reuters. While specifics of the support were not provided, it was noted that Austin’s Northern Command has ordered Secret Service support around the country for the security of the candidates. This support will continue until the elections on November 5th, and then until the swearing-in ceremony of the elected president and vice-president in January 2025.
