The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has announced the designated routes for the Pink Bus Service in Islamabad to help female students and teachers. Twenty buses have been acquired for various schools and colleges in Islamabad. The buses feature a distinctive pink design and will operate in both rural and urban areas of the city. This initiative will provide a new, free bus service for female students and teachers in the federal capital to travel to and from educational institutions.
The joint venture between MOFEPT and the district administration aims to address the transportation challenges faced by women in accessing educational facilities by providing adequate transportation options, particularly for female students and teachers.
