The Saudi government has banned sick people from performing Hajj and has said that only healthy and energetic people will be able to perform Hajj.
On behalf of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has received a health advisory related to Hajj 2025, in which Pakistan has been informed that people suffering from complex diseases will not be able to go on Hajj.
According to the spokesman of religious affairs, the Saudi government has said in a letter that only healthy and energetic pilgrims will be allowed to perform Hajj given the severity of the weather.
Patients with kidney, heart, lung, liver, and cancer complications will not be allowed to perform Hajj.
The spokesman has said that people with dementia and infectious diseases such as TB, tuberculosis, and whooping cough will not be allowed to perform Hajj, children under 12 years of age, and pregnant women will not be allowed to perform Hajj.
According to the spokesman, it will be necessary for Hajj pilgrims to get meningitis, corona, seasonal influenza, and polio vaccines.
