FBR Is Ready To Make Changes In Tax Scheme As Per The Wishes Of Traders

On the issue of tax collection from traders, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is ready to make changes in the tax scheme as per the wishes of the traders.

According to FBR sources, if the traders are ready, the amendment note can be issued immediately.

An amendment to exempt small traders from tax is included in the draft.

Sources say that the income tax return form will be issued in simple and easy Urdu language.

It is proposed not to apply sales tax on annual turnover of Rs.10 crore.

Sources say that the FBR is also likely to amend the income tax table for businessmen.

Yesterday, the representative of the trade association did not come to meet the Chairman FBR.

It should be noted that Chairman FBR Rashid Mahmood Langriyal had said in his statement yesterday that the businessman-friendly scheme will not be returned under any circumstances.

He said that the businessman-friendly scheme will be implemented only with the cooperation of the businessmen.

All legitimate demands of traders will be met, a market rate may be revised, and small shops will not be burdened unnecessarily.
