FBR Imposes 60K Monthly Advance Tax On Karachi Traders

Karachi: Rs 60,000 advance tax has been demanded from the shopkeepers under the Tajir Dost scheme, and the traders were worried about the notice.

In Shahr Quaid, notices have been issued to the shopkeepers under the Trader Friendly Scheme.

Shopkeepers have been asked to pay Rs 60,000 every month as advance tax.

The ongoing notice says that 60 thousand advance tax should be paid under the scheme by the 15th of every month.

FBR Regional Tax Office Karachi has issued notices to traders, shopkeepers,

Traders of Liaquatabad, the electronics market, and other marquees are worried about the notices.

It has been announced by the business community not to pay Rs 60,000 advance tax under the businessmen-friendly scheme.

It should be noted that the president of Anjuman Tajran Ajmal Baloch has announced that traders will not pay advance tax in the name of a friendly tax scheme.

Ajmal Baloch said in his statement that the scheme created in the name of a businessman friend turned out to be enemy enemy, the advance income tax valuation table is not acceptable under any circumstances.

Income tax applies to income and does not follow any other formula.

He said that the businessmen are already paying 10% advance income tax on electricity bills, so they will not pay 2 tithe the mes advance income tax in any case, the electricity bills have taken away the entire business community.

He said the FBR has arranged to bring the traders to the streets against the government.

If the tax valuation table law is not withdrawn, they will announce the shutdown.
