Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan’s industry and agriculture cannot develop without a reduction in electricity bills.
In a few days, I will give the good news of reducing the price of electricity to the nation, and after a few days, I will also present a five-year economic plan.
Addressing the Independence Day ceremony, he said that it is God’s grace to grant us freedom.
Under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam, Muslims made great sacrifices, and then Pakistan came into being, they saluted the martyrs and martyrs.
He said that in the last 77 years our journey as a nation could not be envied, there were many accidents in it.
There were many blows to the national existence, power struggles, internal and external conspiracies, our own mistakes, and elements like selfishness were all included in it.
Unfortunately, other sectors, including the economy, continued to decline and we continued to falter.
The Prime Minister said that people are worried about inflation, unemployment, and electricity bills.
If all is not good here, not all is bad. Some people made the country a nuclear power. Enemies predicted that this country would not last more than three years and today the country is still established after 77 years.
Shahbaz Sharif said that today we have to decide whether we have to spend our lives begging and supporting the poor or we have to follow the edicts of Quaid-e-Azam.
He said that without a reduction in electricity bills, Pakistan’s industry and agriculture cannot develop, and domestic consumers cannot get convenience.
In the next few days, we will give good news to the nation in this regard the government is working with full integrity to reduce the prices of electricity because without it, the country’s economy cannot move forward.
He further said that I would address the nation in a few days and present an economic plan for the next five years.
There are many economic plans in the country, but the fate of nations is changed by nightly hard work, I will do one day and night to reduce inflation and reduce electricity rates.
