A public holiday has been declared across the country on the occasion of Independence Day.
The federal government has declared Independence Day on Wednesday, August 14 as a public holiday across the country.
Banks and all financial institutions across the country will also remain closed on August 14.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), all banks and financial institutions will remain closed on August 14.
There will also be a public holiday in all government offices and educational institutions across the country.
