It is happening for the first time that the election for the chancellor of Oxford University will be held online instead of the traditional method. According to the report of the Telegraph, the seat of the chancellor of Oxford University is held by the former governor of Hong Kong and he has held the position of chancellor for 21 years. It has become vacant after the resignation of 80-year-old Lord Patten.

Graduates of Oxford University will have the opportunity to contest this election, usually only politicians are given chancellorship. According to the report, former British prime ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson are among the chancellorship candidates.

Imran Khan’s advisor Syed Zulfi Bukhari told foreign media on this matter that ‘Imran Khan will contest the election for Chancellor of Oxford University.

Because there is a public demand that he must contest the election. Zulfi Bukhari added that after getting permission from Imran Khan, we will soon announce it publicly. And will also start the signature campaign.

It should be noted that Imran Khan was a part of Oxford University as a student, in 1972 he studied economics and politics at Cable College Oxford.
