Iran’s Election Commission says that Masoud Al-Badzikian was successful in the presidential elections.
According to the results of the second phase of the presidential election in Iran, the reformist candidate Masoud Al-Mabishkian has easily won over his rival and hard-line leader Saeed Jalili.
The results of the second phase of the presidential election have been announced by the Iranian Election Headquarters, according to which 30 million people voted in the election, of which more than 1.63 million people voted for Masoud Al-Mahkiyan.
Saeed Jalili could get more than 1 crore 35 lakh votes, so the voter turnout during the second phase of the election was 49%.
Votes were cast for the election of the new president in Iran yesterday, the voting started at 8 am and continued till noon and the administration had to extend the polling time three times due to the rush of voters in the polling stations.
In the first presidential election phase, Masoud Al-Badzikian received 42.4 percent of the votes, while his closest rival candidate was conservative political leader Saeed Jalili, who received 38.6 percent of the vote.

During the election campaign, Masoud Al-Mabikian’s promises were focused on social justice, balanced development, and reforms. Among the supporters of
Masoud al-Mabzikian has called Iran’s moral police “immoral” for forcing women to wear the hijab, and a large number of women in Iran openly flouting these laws.
In the election, Masoud Al-Mabikian promised the people that he would improve relations with the West as well as restore nuclear talks to end international sanctions that have weakened the country’s economy.
He also promised the people in the election campaign that he would provide the basis for economic development by creating a transparent economic system and eradicating corruption.
In his election campaign, he also promised to improve the educational conditions in the country and increase the quality of schools and universities, including reforming the health system, improving the quality of services medical, and reducing treatment costs.
It should be remembered that the presidential elections were held in Iran on June 28, but no candidate could get more than 50 percent of the required votes in the election, after which it was announced to hold the second phase of the presidential election on July 5.
