Order To Issue Summons Notice For Qasim Suri

The Supreme Court ordered to issue a summons notice to former Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri after he did not appear again despite the summons. In the Supreme Court, a hearing was held on the appeal against the de-seating of Qasim Suri, in which, despite the summons, Qasim Suri Suri did not appear again.

The court also ordered the summon notice to be passed outside Qasim Suri’s house. The court remarked during the hearing that Qasim Suri deliberately did not appear in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court declared that according to the record, Qasim Suri’s brother Bilal refused to receive the notice, from receiving the notice from the former deputy speaker. Avoidance is unfortunate.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa spoke to Qasim Suri’s lawyer Naeem Bukhari that your client is very active on media and social media, to which Naeem Bukhari said, “I don’t know, sir, I don’t watch TV.” Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa asked Naeem Bukhari you are a media personality yourself and do not watch television, are you familiar with X or Twitter?

Naeem Bukhari said that I do not use social media nor do I know how to use it. Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said why do you consider yourself old, stay young and up-to-date, to which lawyer Naeem Bukhari replied you are already old. During the hearing, Justice Irfan Saadat said that in a television program. You said my friends don’t let me grow old.

Naeem Bukhari said that I have no contact with Qasim Suri. The Chief Justice said in his remarks that the next hearing will be held in July, and the next date will be fixed in the court order, after which the Supreme Court postponed the hearing until next month.
