The formation of the provincial cabinet of Balochistan is currently under discussion, and consultations are ongoing. Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bagti, arrived in Islamabad late at night to finalize these discussions. There is a possibility that the provincial cabinet will be sworn in on April 4, which marks the anniversary of martyr Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
The cabinet will consist of 14 ministers and 5 advisors, with the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (N) having the most participants. The government’s allied parties ANP, BAP Jamaat-e-Islami, and Haqq Du Tehreek are also included. For senior provincial ministers, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Jangiz Marri, the Nawab of Pakistan Muslim League (N), are being considered.
