During the blessed month of Ramadan, Zakat and charity are practiced around the world, including in Pakistan. Many organizations and individuals take steps to help those in need. One such initiative has been taken by the Balochistan Police, where SP City Quetta Pari Gul Tareen has provided a room in the city police station as a mosque for women.
Previously, women were unable to find a place to pray while shopping in the market. However, with this initiative, women now have a dedicated space for prayer in the city police station, complete with a washroom for ablution and a place to recite the Holy Quran after prayers. Women can also meet with female police officers to discuss any issues they may be facing. SP City Pre-Gul Tareen said that this mosque was established to help women pay their prayers on time while shopping and to address any issues they may be facing. When women tell the police about their problems, including domestic violence, the police will be able to address them, which will help reduce crimes related to women
