Wedding House Gas Explosion Kills Bride, Groom, 8 In Islamabad

At least eight people, including the bride and groom, were killed after a gas cylinder explosion ripped through a wedding house in the G-7/2 Aabpara area of Islamabad.

According to rescue officials, the powerful blast caused the building to collapse, trapping several people under the debris. Six others sustained injuries and were shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

Police said a wedding ceremony was underway at the house when the explosion occurred. The incident took place around 2:00 a.m., shortly after the arrival of the wedding procession (baraat). The blast also damaged at least four nearby houses.

Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene immediately and launched relief operations. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
