A passenger bus traveling from Rawalpindi to Multan plunged into a 100-foot-deep ravine in the Dhoke Pathan area of Talagang, resulting in the death of five people and injuries to 16 others.
According to Rescue 1122, heavy fog led to the closure of the Motorway and CPEC routes, forcing the bus to travel via the GT Road. The accident occurred near the mountainous area of Dhoke Pathan, where the bus lost control and fell into the ravine.
Rescue 1122 teams and district administration responded immediately, shifting the injured and deceased to the Government City Hospital. Several of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
