Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty held an important meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, during which matters related to defense cooperation and regional security were discussed.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt, with a special focus on defense and security cooperation, military-to-military engagements, training collaboration, and regional peace and stability.

During the meeting, the two dignitaries reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening ties in defense and strategic sectors. The Egyptian Foreign Minister conveyed good wishes from his country’s leadership and expressed Egypt’s interest in expanding cooperation with Pakistan in all areas.

Both sides also emphasized that, in view of the evolving regional security environment, continued high-level engagements are crucial for addressing emerging challenges. The Field Marshal stressed that enhanced defense cooperation would contribute significantly to regional stability.
