Senator Dostain Domki of PML-N stated that the decision to remove Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has been made, and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has taken the call on this matter.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Senator Domki was asked whether the decision to remove CM Bugti had been finalized. He replied, “If I am saying anything, it carries weight. Sarfraz Bugti has been in office since March 2024, and the provincial situation is far worse now than before.”
Is Sarfraz Bugti’s CM Seat in Danger?
He criticized the current governance, stating, “There is no good governance in the province; corruption is at its peak. The decision to remove Sarfraz Bugti has been finalized. I am 100% certain about this. Whether he accepts it or not, the leadership of PPP is bringing about this in-house change.”
Domki further explained that under the power-sharing agreement between PML-N and PPP, there is a 2.5-year arrangement regarding the Balochistan CM post. “PPP still has one year left, and the new Chief Minister will come from PPP,” he added.
He said the new CM would ensure good governance and improve the province’s deteriorating conditions. “Since Sarfraz Bugti became CM, he had support from all sides, yet he has failed. PPP will decide the name of the new Chief Minister,” Domki concluded.
